The Hollywood District is rich in history, in fact, the neighborhood is named after the Hollywood Theatre. First established in 1926. The theater is home to numerous film festivals throughout the year.

Special Events include Third Thursdays, where shops, galleries, and restaurants stay open late and celebrate music, art, food and fun for the whole family every Third Thursday of the month. The Hollywood District is also the host of the Junior Rose Parade on June 6th. During the last weekend of October, goblins and ghosts come out to celebrate Hollyween.
